Eva Mendes


 

Eva Mendez was born in Miami, Florida on March 5, 1974. She is the daughter of Cuban immigrants, the youngest of four children. 
She dropped out of marketing studies in the mid-1990s, when she was discovered by an artistic agent, who saw her photo in the folder of a neighbor admiring her beauty. 

In 1997 she participates in the video 'Hole in my soul' by Aerosmith. 
His first film was Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror in 1998, a film that would go directly to the video market in the United States. That same year he also appeared in an episode of the well-known television series ER. 

A brief role in the 1998 John Fortenberry comedy Roxbury Move as the actress's godmother, Molly Shanon, put her on the international film scene. 

His film career was underpinned with more important characters in My Brother the Pig (1999), Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000), Out of Time (2001), an action movie starring Denzel Washington, Training Day (2001), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Hitch (2005), a comedy co-starring with Will Smith, or Ghost Rider, a fantasy film co-starring Nicolas Cage. 

He has participated in several of the video clips of The Strokes, The End Has No End, Aerosmith Hole in my soul and Will Smith Miami in 1999. 
Eva Mendes posed for photographer Marino Parisotto for Campari's 2008 calendar. Inspired by fairy tales, Eva appears disguised as a fairy tale character. 
In addition, she posed nude in an advertisement for the organization PETA, during a campaign against the use of animal skins.
